“Six degrees of Separation” is a well-known idea that all people are six or fewer social connections away from each other.

The Six Degrees of Foster Care Campaign is an initiative with a singular focus - to show the world that everyone is connected to Foster Care, even if they were not directly involved or alumni.

The #6DegreesofFosterCare hashtag will be a space for Foster Care Alumni and transitioning youth to tell their stories and connect with others who have been or know someone who has been in the foster care system.
