The vision of his company, 5 Starr Enterprise, is to become the number one resource for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) workforce diversity in the United States.  His company educates and empowers communities to play more active roles in S.T.E.M. related curricula and fields. His company’s primary initiative, B.E. M.O.R.E. S.T.E.M. (Bringing Everyone More Opportunities and Relevant Experiences in S.T.E.M.) is a national initiative that engages and excites communities about S.T.E.M. careers. B.E. M.O.R.E. S.T.E.M. is founded on the belief that increasing creative thinking in students leads to their increased academic performance. Mr. Tilghman has been praised for putting the “WOW” in S.T.E.M. education. He has had the honor of being invited to the White House Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) initiative for his unique efforts in S.T.E.M. education. His company’s secondary initiative, D.E.N.T. Group (Delivering Educational Needs Together), offers information technology (I.T.) training courses to help adults find employment in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Mr. Tilghman has created a unique brand of educational entertainment that combines his Disc Jockey skills with his love for S.T.E.M. education. He conducts his “Edutainment” workshops at high profile events across the country. He has been the Master of Ceremonies at six Innovative S.T.E.M. conferences, has been featured at three National Society of Black Engineers National conferences, and has headlined the Becoming Everything You Are or (BEYA) S.T.E.M. conference.

Locally, Mr. Tilghman was the Keynote speaker for the Maryland Associate for Resources for Family and Youth (M.A.R.F.Y.) awards banquet and has presented at Reginald F. Lewis High School, Old Court Middle School and The Living Classrooms Foundation.
